Start your day with an unforgettable Whitsundays fishing adventure aboard the Reef Adventurer! This half-day fishing charter from Airlie Beach is perfect for families, beginners, or anyone looking to experience the thrill of reef fishing on the Great Barrier Reef.

Departing Coral Sea Marina at 7:00am and returning around 12:00pm, we’ll cruise up to 20 nautical miles from Airlie Beach in search of some of the most prized tropical fish in North Queensland waters. Aboard our 12-metre custom-built vessel, you’ll enjoy a fast, smooth, and comfortable ride surrounded by breathtaking Whitsunday scenery.

What's Included
Everything you need for an incredible afternoon on the water is included:

• Quality rods, tackle, bait, ice, and eskies
• Delicious afternoon tea and cold drinking water
• Toilet onboard and a half-length canopy for shade
• BYO alcohol (cans preferred)

Our experienced crew takes care of all the details so you can relax, fish, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Techniques & Target Species 
During your Whitsundays half-day reef fishing tour, our expert Skipper and Deckhand will guide you through multiple techniques to help you land the perfect catch, including:

• Jigging
• Bottom Bouncing
• Trolling
• Sight Casting

We’ll target a range of popular reef species such as Coral Trout, Nannygai, Red Emperor, and Spanish Mackerel — among many others found in the Whitsundays’ rich blue waters. 

Your Experience
Your trip begins with a safety briefing and fishing plan for the day. From there, our friendly and knowledgeable crew will take you to the best local fishing spots. Whether you’re a first-time fisher or a seasoned angler, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and confident throughout the trip.

You’re welcome to catch and release or take your fish home, our team will clean, fillet, and bag your catch before you leave the boat.
